Be sure to install the Vintillect Importer WordPress Plugin into your blog if you haven't already. When you are ready to upload your Facebook data file to be processed, click the upload button in the plugin to get started.

Frequently Asked Questions
You could copy your media files, but it will either be a long process of filtering them, or you'll mistakenly upload files that you didn't intend to.
Individual text posts could be copied from JSON or HTML file into the blog editor, but that manualy process will take an extremely long time.

- Host your WordPress Domain with Bluehost

- Sign up for a site on WordPress.com. Check the storage limits on the Plans & Pricing page though. You will need a business account to be able to upload this plugin file directly.
- You must have a WordPress site, preferrably through a web host.
- Download your Facebook data file using the JSON format.
- Install the Vintillect Importer plugin into WordPress.
- On the Vintillect Importer (Facebook) Settings page, click the Upload button which will take your to an upload page.
- After you receive an email with your Upload ID that your file has been processed, update your settings and you can start importing.

Messenger photos and videos are available as an option to import media into WordPress. You often share these memories directly with your friends, but you don't share them on your timeline. When you upload to WordPress, they aren't turned into posts in a blog, but rather kept in your WordPress media library. You can then share them in blog posts that you then create. Please use discretion and don't abuse this feature.
To deter privacy abuse, we are not making chat logs available to import into WordPress. Instead, they will be available as HTML files in a zip file that you can download. You will then be able to open the files on your local computer.
